Why pay someone to be a "skill balance suggester" just listen to the god dam GW community. Basicly all the nerfs/buffs in the past year have been /fail in one way or another.

Oh yeah, that will work GREAT . The "community" Don't nerf SF. Give Sins the ability to one hit kill people. Keep my skill combos perfect and only nerf stuff that I play against that beats me.

Seriously, all this whinning over skill balances. Many of them have been quite good if you stop being so pessimistic and short sighted.

Not really, any one with half a brain knows SF shouldn't have been buffed, in the first place and most of the GW community would agree.

Some parts of the recent skill balances have been good, some parts have been total stupid and I do wonder if Anet play this game sometimes.

Why does it matter, all GMs and devs have been working hard for the GW community.

Gaile, because, in one thread on GWONLINE, she basically told everyone to piss off.

Could someone provide me a link to that epic win post btw?

Simple warning - Keep it on topic. First sign of a flame, and I will terminate this thread.

Andrew Patrick is the only one who seems to actually listen to the community.
I dont think he has the power to change anything but he does what he can to enlighten people like Izzy who would rather play team fortress than do his job.

I've only seen ANet krew during events & monk strikes, so I'm still quite neutral about them.

I don't recall seeing any "GM" tag above any one in game. Not Gaile or anyone else.

My FAVORITE GM is Andrew Patrick. He is a cool guy. Willing to play on almost any PVP team you invite him to. I was there when he got R6. He is a very nice guy and always wants to know what you think about the game.

Linsey Murdock. Some of the quests she came up with are the most fun in the game. (Vaels quest chain aswell as the Black Moa Chick scavenger hunt)

I don't really know, but it was cool when a bunch of GMs showed up for the Monk strike or whatever at Thunderhead Keep about a year ago.

i love Gaile most of all.

its basically 100% because of her that i got my account back after being banned, when i was given a bunch of duped ectos in a trade..... support basically told me to go away and never come back.

until another GM comes along that goes out of there way to help people like Gaile did for me, she wins the prize!

i also have to agree however that some GMs (and anet as a whole) receive way too much hate. the game is great and sure i would do some things differently if i had my way, but only because my viewpoint is based purely on gameplay and nothing to do with the business model used in guild wars.

Too bad the community doesn't know the first thing about game balance.

So he's supposed to work 24/7 on GW? Everyone needs a break.
